Please note that these fees may be adjusted based on the final services provided (including complexity and volume), applicable promotions, and method of payment.

Upon submission of your tax organizer, an invoice for the applicable Tax Return Preparation fee listed above will be generated and added to your client portal. This invoice reflects our retainer fee for tax preparation services and is not your final invoice. Payment of this invoice is required prior to the commencement of preparation of your tax return.

Final invoices will be provided upon presentation of completed tax returns and are due and payable upon receipt. If you elect to have your tax preparation fees withheld from your refund, your payment will be due upon IRS processing of your federal tax return. If your refund is withheld by the IRS due to any reason other than preparer error, or if your refund is offset by an IRS or third party debt, your payment will become due in full immediately upon notification from our office.

By providing your signature on this agreement below and subsequently submitting your tax organizer and supporting documents, you agree to pay these fees for any services rendered upon presentation of an invoice. While we are dedicated and determined to get you all the deductions that you are entitled to, your return is unique to your circumstances therefore we cannot guarantee the outcome or whether you will view it as favorable or not. This does not relieve you of the obligation to pay our fees.

Upon payment of your final invoice, an electronic copy of your tax returns will be uploaded to your client portal. Paper copies are available upon request for an additional fee of $15 when picking up from our office or $25 if certified mail is requested. We will not be held liable for any lost or stolen mail. Copies of prepared returns will not be released without payment, no exceptions.

Please be advised that our fees are solely for the preparation of your requested returns. We are not required to file any prepared tax return on your behalf and will do so by request only. If e-filing of your return is requested, you must complete the e-signature process before e-filing can be initiated. If your return is rejected, you will be notified in writing within 1 business day with instructions on how to resolve the rejection. It is your sole responsibility to provide the required information or follow the steps to resolve any rejections. Once your return is accepted, you will be notified in writing within 1 business day with instructions on how to check your refund status, pay your balance due, etc. If your return must be mailed for any reason, it will be your sole responsibility to do so. Failure to sign your return, resolve a rejection, or mail your return does not relieve you of the obligation to pay our fees.

Invoiced amounts not paid within five (5) days from the invoice date will be subject to a late payment charge of $50. Amounts not paid within ten (10) days from the invoice date will be subject to an additional late payment charge of $50. If any invoice remains unpaid for a period longer than (15) days, we may pursue payment in court or turn the account over to an attorney or collection service for collection and an additional charge of up to $500 may apply to cover our collection costs.
